Ladies have taken to Twitter to complain about their Marks and Spencer’s bras setting off security scanners in airports. You can read more about it here .
Assuming you made it safely through security, how do you go about cleaning those under wired bras once you’re back home? We’re sometimes asked if it’s okay to pop them in the wash.
We recommend hand washing, but if you think life’s too short for that, you could always try placing them in a protective laundry net and putting them on a gentle wash. We see there’s even shaped laundry netting specifically designed for underwired bras now, sold by cupsize, at Lakeland. Whoever would have thought there would be such a thing?
