One mum has revealed her £1.60 two-step hack for deep cleaning ovens fast, and she makes it sound so good, you might actually want to do it.
She shared her genius idea on the Mums Who Clean Facebook page and other parents love it.
She wrote: “I had only cleaned my oven once in 9 years! Joined this group a week ago and look what happened.”
Sharing her budget cleaning hack, the woman wrote: “I used bicarbonate of soda and vinegar and a nylon scouring pad inside the oven.
You can pick up bicarbonate of soda for just 69p at Asda, and white vinegar spray costs 89p from Warrior Warehouse.
As well as leaving her formerly filthy door sparkling, the simple acidic solution effectively cleaned the inside while the oven was still warm.
What’s more, the woman also soaked her oven racks in the bathtub with a dishwasher tablet to get rid of greasy oil stains.
She shared pictures and other parents on the page were impressed by results.
One replied: “Amazing! Well done! Plus no overpowering oven cleaner required! I hate that stuff – it restricts my breathing.”
Two budget-friendly ingredients makes this hack too easy not to try out if you’re planning on doing a bit of a spring cleaning.
Other clever cleaning hacks that have been revealed recently include a miracle £1 spray from The Range to get rid of nasty mould.
A mum claims it got rid of some unpleasant mildew from around her windows in minutes.
