During this unusual time we will be trying our upmost to maintain a regular and convenient service to our customers and have lots of ways in which we can still continue to do so.
We are of course taking the sensible precautions advised by health officials and the government during the Covid 19 Coronavirus outbreak.
Our store will remain open, for the next few weeks the store will be open to public for drop off and collections from 10 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon. Any changes to the times will be posted here and on our Goggle Listing
We have been providing laundry services to the elderly and vulnerable in the Gateshead and surrounding area for over 20 years and will continue to do so during this difficult time.
Our collection and delivery vehicles will be running and able to collect laundry and dry cleaning from either home or work.
We can offer a zero contact solution for people who are particularly worried. Our online booking service allows the allocation of both a collection and delivery time as well as secure payment methods. To take advantage and booking a collection just click here
You can of course just call us during our store hours and we will arrange a collection via the telephone. If you are less worried you can pay at the door via contactless payment or alternatively cash will still be accepted.
If you have a relative that you generally wash for and are concerned we also offer the option to subscribe to a weekly or fortnightly service – again all paid online. For details of this service please email hello@thelaundryco.com
